Im.Ex. extension is an import / export tool for Contao cms, it aims to reuse contents created with Contao.

With Im.Ex you can export, for example, a contact form and use it in all Contao installation you wish.

Im.Ex. features a smart engine that detects any relations between contents and handles them. (e.g. you export a page and all articles contained in it will be exported too; you export a form and the "Confirmation page" will be exported too.). Virtually any content created with Contao can be exported as Im.Ex. package.

Im.Ex. packages can be imported in any Contao installation and can be uninstalled easily. This means that you can install an Im.Ex. package into your Contao installation and, if you do not like the installed contents, you can delete all the contents installed by the package in order to return to the previous state of your installation.

Some ideas of what can be done with Im.Ex.:

• Create reusable Forms
• Create reusable Layouts (all the modules that belongs to the Layout will be included in the package)
• Migrate contents from one Contao installation to another one.
• Easily share "user groups" settings between installations
• Create complex contents (e.g. a complete Newsletter registration system with all the needed parts included)
• Create "plug and play" navigation menu (i.e. export the template, javascript and css in a single package)
